Sunny the Cat and Cult of Kumquat info will go here J.S.O. 1984 A short lived but very intense 'first band' Lead Guitar: Todd Risley Bass Guitar: Scott Borne Drums: John 'the Stump' Dohrmann Rythem Guitar: Brandt Nesbitt well, like i said a very short lived band (in that incarnation) we played one show at the Central High winter formal, playing two songs one of which I didn't kow how to play, being hopelessly outgunned by my band mates I retired into years of self loathing. Every one else in the band however did much better, going on to for Immaculate Reception (with Tim Hoyer), Shup Bisch (with Nik Kounas) Joe Worker (with David Dale and Jhonny Stanko) Kill Creek (with Ron Hays), the Backsliders, Hoof, the Kelly Girls and a host of other short lived but intense bands that crafted the musical stylings of Lawrence Kansas since the mid 80's , and founded the LarryVille Cowpunk style of music (which is rarely heard these days) to the best of my knowledge Tim and Todd are now high dollar Tattoo artists, John is living in L.A. trying to become a photographer, Scott is still in Kill Creek and Happily Married to a lovely woman. if any of you happen to stumble across this drop me a line. but do you love us? Here I may include a sound Web Gem so you can listen to a sample of this CD. |
